- Double Elimination
- Game settings: Rounds: 2 out of 3 Rounds per game, 99 Seconds Time Limit, Control Type: Modern or Classic, motion blur OFF, Input delay reduction ON, Players must set Button Release On or Off before a match in the main menu
- 2/3 Rounds per Game
- 2/3 Games per Set
- 3/5 Games for all Sets in Winners Final, Losers Final and Grand Finals
- Winner must keep character
- Losing player may switch character
- Dynamic control type is banned
- Random stage select (players may opt for an agreed stage)
- Training Room stage is banned from Tournament Play
- If a banned stage is randomly selected, repeat random stage selection process until a tournament legal stage appears
- In the event of a tied Match declared by a “Double K.O.” on the Game screen, the Match will not be scored and both Players will replay the tied Match with the same character selections and stage.
- Illegal mods of any kind will result in immediate disqualification.

- Tournament Format will be Double Elimination
- Match Format: Best of 1
- If at the end of regulation time the scores are tied players play GOLDEN GOAL, If it is still tied it goes to penalties until a winner is decided
- Players are not allowed to end a match or restart with different teams.
- Participants may choose their preferred controls; Manual, Semi or Assisted before the match starts.
- Converters will be provided for players with PS5 Controllers
- If a controller is defective, the participant can pause the game and notify the tournament moderator. Once the participant agrees that the problem has been rectified, they are NOT allowed to pause the game a second time.
- The tournament referee makes the final decision regarding the controller’s status. If a participant chooses to play with a defective controller, all end results are valid and final. Disputes will not be entertained.
- Players can use any club or national team.
- Legendary teams or custom teams are NOT allowed.
- Both participants may select the same club/country/team.
- Players are allowed to select preset formations only, before the match begins.
- Tactic selection is allowed throughout the whole match.
- Once the match has started, Players may not pause the game except in the case of an emergency or a defective controller.

Other Tournament Rules
- Each Player will have 2 minutes to configure controls, line-ups and settings in accordance with the rules as described under ‘Tournament Rules’.
- Custom packages may not be used, nor anything else that is not available in the in-game pause menu.
- Tournament referees will be on site to monitor all game play. They will signal participants to begin play and will record scores for each match.
- Each Player is allowed two pauses. One Pause per Half.
